Like most people who go to the gym to workout, I bring my trusty ipod. I love having music to push me through my workout. Today I decided I would create a nice blues mix. I had a number of my favorite artists like Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B King, and Jimi Hendrix saved in a special playlist. While listening to Eric Clapton play “Before You Accuse Me” I couldn’t help but smile. Listening to Eric playing through the blues is extremely satisfying. Eric Clapton has done a phenomenal job of bridging the gap between blues and pop music. Thank you Eric.

The African drums can give your primitive melodies some very rich and unique tones, to the bass portion of your music. If you wish to create a sound in your artful musical renditions that are capable of reaching down into the soul, and stirring the deepest response from your ancestor’s influence, then you may really enjoy the drums from Africa. They will give your compositions a more authentic and tribal sound. And if you have African ancestry, you will also be able to feel the music in a more spiritual way, for the development of those religious ceremonies that are authentic, as well.

My devotion to photography and especially nature photography began a number of years ago when my wife and I began making trips up to the Great Smoky Mountains. Needless to say we were absolutely in awe of the beauty and splendor of this area.I began simply, as many people do, photographing with just a basic point and shoot camera. It was a Canon 35mm film camera. Even still, I found that I was approaching a scene with concern and attention to the elements in the scene I was about to photograph. I have advanced to the point of becoming a full time professional photographer but I will never forget those early days of discovering the Smoky Mountain nature.

When I go to my favorite book shop or settle down to an Amazon search, I’m never too sure what I will find. Will it be a diamond in the rough – dazzling brightly in the dirt, or will it be something that has the same effect as would a sleeping tablet? It’s always a concern for me, I have to admit.
However, this always happened before I discovered the books by charlaine harris. Now this is far from the case! Whenever I go to the local book shop or search on Amazon these days, I head straight for the Charlaine Harris section without fail!

After the whole lecture of our history teacher regarding the world instruments, I have learned a lot of insights. I think I like to learn how to play all those world instruments. Maybe that will be nice. I know people would like to hear music and I was just thinking how great of a music will the world instruments are able to produce? I think that will be a great thing to find out. As for now, I still have some research to do. I think I am taking this thing seriously. And that should be a great thing, who knows I might become the next Mozart with that!
