I guess I should have listened to what the tax lawyer told me in the first place. He was exactly right. I am in some really big trouble that is for sure. I am not sure what I am going to be able to do about it. I am starting to think that there is nothing that I can do to save myself at this point. This is another reason for more government regulation. go back and read the history of the 1920s and 30s. Same thing. Basically, our business leaders are writing their own pay checks. I sold my Ford stock advice long ago when it became apparent Ford had huge internal debt in the form of stock options. We now have companies that say they are making a profit when in fact they have huge sums in stock options and other remuneration.

The whole thing is a huge con job in which business says it needs to reward these financial cretins. What we all see now is going to lead to some nasty changes out in time. We can’t keep deep sixing our schools and elderly while allowing these guys to make millions in stock options. The compensation for founders like Gates or Dell make perfect sense. They founded the companies. But, when a company gives away $20 million for doing the standard job, THAT should be illegal. These clowns are getting paid for no other reason other than TARP and the Fed saving their companies from bankruptcy. Their phoney success is really a function of a huge economy they have no control over at all.
