A lot of people ask me how long the conveyancing process takes.  I always answer that it takes about six to eight weeks if they are lucky. I do not know why I add the lucky part, because, in reality, it really does take six to eight weeks. I consider myself to be somewhat of a comedian and for some reason, that line cracks me up. Maybe I have been in such a dry line of work, you know, transferring titles, that anything will amuse me. But that is what I tell people, if they are lucky. I have to stop saying that.
