Four years ago I was completely ecstatic to be able to afford to attend the University of California at Irvine. I started off as a psychology major and then changed over to business. I graduated in 3 1/2 years and immediately got a very good job with a large bank in Southern California. One thing that weighed heavily on my mind were my student loans. Because of this I went online to compare consolidation loan student programs that were available to me. I had three separate loans and I figured if I could put them all together I would have a lower payment.
