There was never a time when my husband didn’t love the law, but he’d had little education and thought he would spend his life as the manager of a local store.  I encouraged him to make his dream come true. Five years later he graduated college and entered law school.  Three years later, after a huge amount of hard work and sacrifice, he took and passed the New York State Bar Exam. Recently he was given a very difficult case and came home worried that he might fail.  I reminded him of how far he’d come and he agreed that, if he could pass the bar, nothing could stop him now.
