I got married right out of high school, and was pregnant soon afterward. We moved away from our home town, to a town in another state so that my husband could study economics. I was in the nursing program for one semester, until I had our son, and haven’t been back since. But now that our son is older, I’m thinking about going back to school. I still want to be a nurse, but being a mother is my highest priority. So I’m actually applying to online nursing schools, so that I can study, and still be home with my boy.
