The mormon church is a great influence on youth, encouraging wholesome activities, waiting until later to date than most teenagers do, encouraging filters for Internet, good media that doesn’t promote violence, promiscuity, or other kinds of immorality, and it is also very goal oriented for both girls and boys. The mormon church is heavily involved with The Boy Scouts of America and places importance on the boys getting their Eagle Scout. I know my husband is proud of that accomplishment. He has a real passion for serving in the Boy Scouts too, opting to volunteer at the cub camp every day last year.
