Joining in the skateboarding world is very different from most sports, as they have their own lingo and even have certain types of clothing that are worn while experiencing the fun sport. The community center in our town gave out Free Element Skateboarding Stickers, to help promote this newer sport to those that have never had the pleasure of trying this sport. I was able to help out the community center and learned about ramps, clothing and other accessories that go with skateboarding. The promotion was well received by the youth and the parents. We were able to acquire extra help with building the ramps from parents that attended the promotion.
