There are many ISP (Internet Service Provider) choices available to a given individual.  Not only are there choices between providers in a certain country, there are choices between countries.  For example, one may have a United States ISP or a South African ISP.  The amount of choices within a country is dependent upon the amount of technological progress possessed and geographic considerations.  Whereas many ISP’s in the United States can be rurally located, another country would have choices clustered around a metropolitan area.  The competition between ISP’s is becoming very fierce as we begin to enter the second decade of the 21st century.
