When I heard that my daughter was coming for a visit with my only grandchild, I started making plans.  I live in Arizona and my daughter lives in Alaska.  The only time she was able to come for a visit was the middle of July and I knew they would be miserable with the extreme heat.  I decided to take the to California for most of there vacation.  I was able to choose from many California vacation rentals that were ideal.  I found one with three bedrooms, a full kitchen, and two bathrooms that was a short walk to the beach.  We had a fabulous time and will likely do this again next year.
